history/personality: aurelia rosemary vanderbilt was born in london, england to a long line of old money. centuries ago, her family used to be a cousin to the royal family. for generations, the money has been passed down to the heir of a vanderbilt. never was there a daughter born in the vanderbilt family. until her mother came along. she was the first ever female vanderbilt, but aurie never got to know her more. for a good ten years of her life, her parents spoiled her like crazy. even with the fortune they have, her father was still working as a lawyer and her mother was a pediatrician. her parents loved her, and gave her everything she ever wanted, but a week before her eleventh birthday, her mother was killed in a hit and run accident. she was devastated, but she knew she had to be strong for her father. instead of grieving like she expected him to, he just forced himself into a marriage a year later to a horrid woman. temperance was her name. she had twin daughters named alice and dahlia. the evil woman convinced her father that london was a bad place and that her home in miami would be the best place for the girls. and in a matter with a couple of weeks after the wedding, things were already all packed up as they moved to miami despite aurelia's protests. a few short months afterwards, her father passed away after a heart attack at work. for the past six years, aurelia has been running errands, cleaning clothes, scrubbing the floor, cooking food, serving them, and just basically being their slave. they shoved her up in the attic of the mansion, refusing to let her out of the room when guests were over unless they didn't have caterers and they needed her to serve and clean. well, you could easily say aurelia was your modern day cinderella. except she never got her prince.
